Heh I'm so excited about how this is gonna turn out and this isn't even my commission . Also, if you needed any more opinions on the backgrounds, I choose #1 ()

I love your backgrounds, lighting and the general "atmosphere" in your paintings more than your characters themselves. great work !

I'm kinda surprised on the #7 (isn't it?) you got on the WTB 870k Contest
Expected you'd be top 3

Characters are nearly done now, there will perhaps be a few minor edits, to tidy up details etc.

Now just the background! ^^

[EDIT]
minor edit 1! :P

Before/After

Added shiny-ness and tighter tum.

This drawing portrays wonderfully how warriors SHOULD look like. I want more skinny men with big swords... even if it probably isn't realistically possible. This wammo is hawt. <3

Amazing colouring again, Grey Fox! And I'm loving the background too, you're just amazing at drawing backgrounds.
Oh, and going to pester you again... when are you going to send me your character's screenshot, so I can start the art-trade? I'm in no hurry, but it's nice to have a screenie waiting for when inspiration strikes.

And that's the reason I've never made a male warrior, and never will >_>

If I could make a male warrior that looked even close to this, I'd do so, but GWs warrior all look like neanderthals who've been breeding with gorillas.

I'll do it right now, whilst I remember!

Thanks for the comments all, they are much appreciated

Had a lot of fun with this one! ^_^ I won't say this version is final yet, because 0siris hasn't given it the stamp of approval just yet, but it's pretty close I think

Now then, I have a reaper to paint, his robes blowing in the wind of a dark storm, as he stands amist the slain crew of a corsair ship... *gets ready to PM his master plan to Fallen Hunter*

You overdid the background IMO. The emphasis is on the waterfall. Starts making you wonder if art can get too good . . . Very nice work though. I envy your skill.

Its like they used to do in the renaissance , everything was equally detailed, nothing stood out, but it was drawn as it could be seen. I love it ^^ The bit of water on the right looks like its magically twisted (on purpose?)
